Mealworms – Tenebrio Moltor - ­ are the larvae of a flour beetle. Mealworms are a traditional and popular live food for mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians and particularly, bluebirds. The have a crude protein level of 50.4% and because of their fresh cereal and vegetable diet, not only are they extremely palatable for many species, they are an extremely safe food source.

These mealworms are approximately 3/4 inch long. You can store them in a refrigerator at 45 - 50 degrees f for several months. Complete care instructions are included.
