This 12 compartment Mini Castle Martin apartment is a complete kit - nothing else to buy. Easy to assemble and install.

This twelve compartment house features a martin enticing hexagon shape. Martins seem to prefer apartments offset from each other, cleverly achieved with the hexagonal shape and wide porches of this home.

Made of durable aluminum, the Mini-Castle is lightweight, helping dissipate any heat buildups in the compartments. This helps maintain a comfortable temperature for the martins.

In addition, the lightweight house is simple to raise and lower on the included lanyard lock system. Simply ensure that the rope completely threads through the house and does not twist. Then, attach the rope to the included lock system, and loosen it when you need to check the house for nests and cleanouts. This system is safe for people of all ages interested in becoming or remaining a martin landlord.

The entrance holes on the hexagonal dwelling are spaced approximately 8" apart to discourage male martin domination, and the 14" wide porches with guard rails create the offset housing compartments that martins prefer.

Each of the twelve compartments has individual, flip-up/snap-out doors for easy access, and Dri-nest subfloors keep nests 0.25" above the floor for additional drainage. This extra floor also allows you to easily treat parasites under the nests if necessary.

A roof perch allows more room for your martins to perch and preen, and an included 2 foot long ground socket provides stability to the pole. Twelve winter door stops help you close the home for the winter.
