This 12 compartment Martin apartment is a complete kit - nothing else to buy. Easy to assemble and install. Winch elevation system makes raising/lowering a snap. Kit includes house, nest elevating subfloors (keeps nest dryer), winter door stops, 14 foot pole (including cable and winch) and ground socket.
Easily raise and lower house with winch and cable system. House stops instantly on post if winch handle slips out of your hand. Features individual doors to allow access to each compartment, guard rails to prevent nestling fall-out, roof perch provides additional perching for purple martins, and safety handle on pole to stop house at desired height. Easily converts into enlarged compartments.
For this model and the TM12-nh, we recommend purchasing a set of 6 starling resistant doors, and a set of 6 blank doors so that the compartments can be enlarged.
